Do you wonder where Emily's apartment is in the series Emily in Paris? You want to know where Omar Sy runs away in the series Lupin? You are simply curious to know in which corners of Paris the cameras of the Netflix productions have landed? Well, that's exactly what Netflix is offering this summer! NetflixTours is organized in partnership with Sandemans New Europe, in three European cities: Paris, London and Madrid. In each of these cities, tours in French, English and Spanish will take place every day from July 11 to 17 to discover the filming locations of cult Netflix series. In Paris, it will be mainly Emily in Paris and Lupin.
The tour starts at the Jardin du Luxembourg, where the guide shows us the places that Assane Diop, aka Omar Sy, walked in the series inspired by the novels of Maurice Leblanc. Then, you will discover theLatin Quarter under a new light, that of Emily, who made it one of her favorite places to go out. You will discover the neighborhood where she lives and where she works.
Recognize it? This is where Emily eats her first pain au chocolat at the beginning of the first season, not far from the Place de l'Estrapade, where she lives. We can also discover the building she lives in, but not the apartment, obviously, since this one was created in studios.
The visit continues, we will not reveal all the details, to keep the surprise, but know that the guide is not only there to show you the places filmed in the series. They are also a good pretext to tell the history of Paris, the anecdotes on its monuments, a real guided tour! The nooks and crannies of the capital will no longer hold any secrets for you.
Then, a detour to Notre-Dame de Paris, where an exclusive news awaits us! We learn that a French series will be released on the platform by the end of 2022, Notre-Dame: La part du Feu. In this choral fiction, we will discover the consequences of the cathedral's fire on the lives of several characters.
If you are interested in the tour, you should know that the reservation is free and accessible here, and that two thirds of the places are already sold out! You'll have to hurry up to take advantage of it.
