Nuits des Forêts 2024 at the Jardin d'agronomie tropicale in Paris, free events

Les Nuits des Forêts is the national festival that celebrates France's forests through a variety of events. For its fifth edition, which runs from June 7 to 16, 2024, more than 150 forests across France, including the Jardin d'agronomie tropicale in Paris, are taking part in the celebration. This garden, located in the Bois de Vincennes, is a unique site dedicated to agronomic research and colonial history.

The Jardin d'agronomie tropicale de Paris René Dumont is a historic site with a rich biodiversity and numerous architectural remains. In collaboration with the Cité du développement durable, it is opening its doors for a series of free events as part of the Nuits des Forêts. The garden, with its greenhouses, exotic pavilions and commemorative monuments, is the perfect setting for exploring current ecological and cultural issues.

From June 7 to 16, 2024, the Cité du développement durable will be offering some 15 events and activities open to all. The program includes open-air shows for young and old, guided walking and cycling tours, workshops on biodiversity, and an exhibition of plant art. These activities, designed to be both educational and entertaining, aim to strengthen our connection with nature and promote forest preservation.
