The Val d'Oise is taking part in the Les Nuits des Forêts 2024 event with a great program! For wildlife enthusiasts, families and curious onlookers, it's time to go green.
Put on your good shoes, take a little wool in case of overcast weather, don't forget your water bottle for refreshment, and set off to conquer the forests of Val-d'Oise. The program includes night-time walks, tastings of forest products, workshops for young and old, evening entertainment and many other activities, for 10 days of culture and nature in the 95 region.

We invite you to discover the job of a forestry technician in Franconville. "A profession in the Île-de-France region, rich in specificities and assets. A passionate profession, combining curiosity and innovation", explains the organization. The forestry technician responsible for the development and management of the Espace naturel régional de Boissy will present all these facets from 6pm to 7:30pm.
- Children's treasure hunt in Frémainville - Sunday June 16
Children will also have their moment, with games and a treasure hunt for forestry apprentices on June 16 in Frémainville, subject to registration. Along a two- to four-kilometre route, young and old alike can discover various forest species and learn to recognize tree leaves, flowers and fruit thanks to practical tips. There will also be games to help you estimate the height of a tree using the "woodcutter's cross" technique, assess its diameter and read a map like real foresters.
