- Vegetable printing workshop with Léa Foucher
June 12 - 7pm to 8:30pm
This workshop brings us closer to the plant kingdom by revealing the powers of plants and adopting more frugal practices. We discover the basics of natural dyeing and the origins of the process, then compose a motif using various stencils before applying iron paint with a brush. The pattern is then revealed by soaking the fabric in a plant decoction, before rinsing and drying. You leave with a unique creation and the keys to "do it yourself" with minimal impact. This workshop puts the spotlight on forgotten textile items, including second-hand cotton handkerchiefs. In addition to hands-on experience, explanations and anecdotes about the plant world punctuate the workshop.
- Workshop for 10 people - minimum age 6
- Free, no registration required
- Meeting point: at the Buvette
