Do you love gardens, and Japanese gardens in particular? Then you're in luck, because we've got a great free offer for you. To mark the Rendez-vous aux jardins, the Jardin de Favières, which is open to visitors by appointment only, is opening its doors to you from May 31 to June 2, 2024.
The Jardins Japonais de Favières, nestled in the Seine-et-Marne region of France, unveils a vast 7,000 m² cultural and ecological space. Discover this peaceful sanctuary, a reflection of Japanese art and tradition. These gardens, constantly evolving, offer nooks and crannies conducive to serenity and contemplation.
The park consists of five distinct Japanese gardens, each an ode to tranquility and strolling. These gardens, still in the process of being transformed, continue to amaze us.
Created by Sandrine Milic, a landscape gardener with a twenty-year passion for the art of Japanese gardens, these gardens are deeply rooted in Japanese tradition. They offer a diversified sensory experience that changes with the seasons, the blooms and the itineraries. From the spectacle of azaleas in spring to the flamboyant maples as winter approaches, the gardens reveal themselves through the different seasons, including rain, which accentuates the hue of the grey stones, as Sandrine suggests.
