September 28, 2024 is World Abortion Rights Day, a symbolic date that the NGO Médecins du Monde has chosen to discuss with Parisians and the curious about sexual health, still too often taboo yet a major topic in our society. Throughout the day, free talks and workshops will be held at Ground Control, in the 12th arrondissement.
A festive and militant event designed to reaffirm the association's commitment to a world where the sexual health and rights of all are guaranteed and protected. The program includes talks by a wide range of speakers: researchers, sexologists, content creators and journalists, on issues of reproductive justice, the place of men in sexual and reproductive health and rights, access to abortion in France and abroad, and the removal of taboos on the subject.
You'll also be able to take part in sexual and emotional education workshops, adapted for children or adults, contribute to collaborative works, meet committed associations and attend live performances, before an evening of music, with militant karaoke and a DJ set to set the dancefloor alight.
