The Fête de la Nature 2024 is coming to Seine-Saint-Denis too! From May 22 to 26, a host of events related to fauna, flora and biodiversity are being organized in towns, parks and woods across the département. Every year, the Fête de la Nature is an opportunity to (re)discover our environment and highlight the importance of protecting it!
In Seine-Saint-Denis, curious young and old, gangs of friends and families will be able to take part in creative workshops and treasure hunts, go in search of little hedgehogs in the company of professionals, attend permaculture courses, and many other activities, all free of charge!
Several locations are taking part in this national event: shared gardens, parks, urban farms and urban agriculture sites. The events, most of which are bookable, have limited capacity, so be sure to reserve!

Fête de la Nature 2024 in Seine-Saint-Denis (93), the selection :
- Fête de la Nature à Épinay-sur-Seine
The town is offering a nature walk with a photography workshop for the general public.The event will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, starting at 2:30pm at the Maison des berges, on the corner of rue Guynemer and rue Quétigny, with a return at 4:30pm. Access is free, and for further information, please contact 01 49 71 89 79.
- Fête de la Nature in Montreuil
Themed guided walks in Les Murs à Pêches are planned, with dates to be confirmed.
- Fête de la Nature à Pantin
The allotment gardens are offering "Sowing and observation" workshops for 6-12 year-olds on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm. Registration is mandatory at jardinpantin@gmail.com. On Sunday May 26, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm, you can stroll freely through the open-air allotments and chat with the gardeners.
- Fête de la Nature à l'Ile-Saint-Germain
In collaboration with the French Office for Biodiversity, events focusing on the goldfinch are scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 2pm to 5pm and Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm. The events will take place in the Parc de l'Île-Saint-Denis.
- Fête de la Nature à Bagnolet
A hike from the heights to discover the birds of our daily lives is organized on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 8:45am to 12pm. The 5 km hike requires binoculars and is limited to 12 places. Reservations must be made with Thomas Puaud on 06.87.23.69.95 or tompuo51@gmail.com.
Activities in the parks of the 93
- The Parc de la Haute-Ile will welcome you for the Fête de la nature, with a program still to be confirmed.
- The Parc du Sausset is offering several activities. On May 25, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m., you can take part in an investigation in the park, a life-size role-playing game to combat bird trafficking, devised and run by the environmental police, the Office Français pour la Biodiversité. On May 26, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m., an Explorama application will be on hand to help you discover the park. You can also take part in a flower macaroon cooking workshop on Sunday May 26, 2024, from 2.30 to 5.30 pm, with 9 places available on registration. Finally, an activity to discover the park's biodiversity will be held on the same day from 3pm to 5:30pm, with 20 places available on registration.
- At Parc de la Poudrerie, a birdwatching walk is organized from 09:30 to 10:30 and from 10:45 to 11:45. Registration is compulsory and limited to 10 places per time slot. A "biodiversity discovery" stand will also be available from 2pm to 5:30pm at the park entrance.
