The Finnish Institute has decided to offer itself some novelties at the beginning of October...
As a proof, the place now displays a new main entrance with the arrival of the Instituutti gallery unveiling the Finnish know-how.
Designed by Linda Bergroth, elected Young Designer of the Year in 2012 in Finland, this gallery offers various collections that will vary with the seasons. Thus, during this autumn, Finnish design will be honored through the novelties and classics of one of the most famous design brands: Iittala.
The Finnish Institute will also host the creations of the famous designer Klaus Haapaniemi.
But that's not all, as theFinnish Institute has also thought of the gourmets by launching, in collaboration with Tom and Antoine from Café Coutume, the Coutume Instituutti. On the menu? Dishes with a Finnish accent carefully prepared by the fine team of the place.
In addition to hot drinks, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy various dishes, made with healthy products from a respectful local production.
On the menu ofInstituutti, Lapland reindeer, wild fruit specialties, but also some sweet treats like Kanelikierre, (the famous cinnamon rolls) or Hanna tädin piparkakut (traditional Finnish cookies).
And the place strongly advises you to end your lunch with the house specialty: a coffee served by a barista expert in Latte Art.
