Jeffrey Cagnes has finally opened his patisserie! Having made a name for himself with his Nutcracker boutique, before going on to excel at Stohrer, Jeffrey Cagnes is now opening a new spot that's sure to have the whole of Paris in a frenzy. After revitalizing Paris' oldest patisserie with delicious authentic desserts, he announced his departure for new adventures in early 2021.
A few months later, his new baby (as well as his real one) arrived at 24 rue des Moines in the Batignolles district. This address is well known to local gourmets, since Jonathan Blot, with his pastry shop Acide, was in charge until 2017. With around twenty seats and a beautiful glass front overlooking the street, the address has everything to please.
As you enter, you'll find pastries on one side and viennoiseries, babkas, macaroons and tarts on the other.
As we continue, chocolate shop windows open up.
The chef is full of ideas and promises many surprises, like his many collaborations with Philippe Conticini. We've already seen a decadent praline babka and a raspberry cake, on sale on his website. On his instagram page, Jeffrey Cagnes had already teased us with gourmet creations, viennoiserie tests and the gourmet Trop'Dog, which some of us discovered at Taste of Paris.
In short, it's now open, so hurry off and feast your eyes on Jeffrey Cagnes ' creations!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
