Do you love brunch but also Italian cuisine? Why choose when you can have it all? Every weekend, Saturday and Sunday lunchtime, Giorgio, the Dalmata group's Italiano-disco restaurant, now offers a festive brunch. Whether indoors or on its beautiful flower-filledterrace, you're in for a treat!
Granted, brunch isn't exactly Italian in origin, but when you can enjoy brunch while savoring fine Italian cuisine with 100% homemade, sourced products, why deprive yourself?
La Carte, brunch menu:
Basically, what is Giorgio's brunch? It's a short selection of fresh pastas and simple pizzas accompanied by brunch essentials. The first thing to do is choose a hot drink, from cappuccino to chai and hazelnut hot chocolate. Lovers of burrata and arancini won't want to miss out on the starters.
You'll be seduced by the Italian specialties.
Or go for choices likeEgg Benedict with melting spinach and crispy guanciale (dried meat) from Sardinia on a slice of sourdough bread fried in olive oil, topped with truffled hollandaise sauce on request.
Unless you fancy the Disco Club, which combines shredded chicken, egg, mayo and crispy guanciale in a toasted sandwich loaf.
Otherwise, veggies won't want to miss the Shak Shak alla Norma, a Ragù of San Marzano tomatoes and lightly spiced burnt peppers, fried egg, fried eggplant and Caccioricota, and the truffle scrambled egg toast with Butter Toast & egg.
There's no brunch without pancakes, so we're going for the ricotta version with caramelized pancakes, mascarpone cream, pecan praline and vanilla custard. The more sensible will opt for theItalian Muesli Gang with Greek yogurt, caramelized bananas, homemade granola and secret syrup. And those with a sweet tooth won't be able to resist churros with ice cream and pistachio cream.
We love the pretty, trendy terrace that wraps around this beautifully flowered restaurant with its fun, welcoming atmosphere. And every Sunday, the party gets even bigger with an electrifying DJ set with an Italian-disco accent.
How about an Italian brunch on the terrace in a disco atmosphere?
