When Little Italy comes to Paris, the result is Mulberry Street, a trendy Italian restaurant in the Latin Quarter, offering a menu that smacks of Italy, with a cross-Atlantic twist, for a moment between Rome and New York, in the heart of Paris. We've tried it and we'll tell you all about it!

Want to enjoy the best of Italy as if you were in New York, in the Little Italy district? Head for Mulberry Street, an Italian restaurant in the Latin Quarter, in the 5th arrondissement to be precise, which invites you to discover its charcoal pizza menu in a decor inspired by the best addresses in the New York district.

A restaurant with a name steeped in history, too... And with good reason: back in the days of New York's gangs, Mulberry Street was the street where many Italian immigrants settled. A cosmopolitan, popular and cheerful neighborhood that the restaurant has tried to recreate, for a guaranteed change of scenery in a decor combining wood, metal and copper. For the street side, the restaurant called on a duo of urban artists, TITO/MULK. They drew their inspiration from comic strips to give the place a little more cachet.

The menu reads like a replica of the New York Times, and offers charcoal pizzas to be enjoyed at the counter or in the dining room. What makes them special? They're light, tasty, easy to digest and delicious! Another house specialty is the giant pizza, measuring 1m20... Nothing less! An ideal pizza for groups or large gourmets. On the drinks front, there's a fine selection of craft beers, organic wines and cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, for a great mix of flavors.

An address that the editors were able to try out. On the menu, we chose the Burratina, a charcoal pizza with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, parma ham and burrata. A particularly tasty pizza, with a thin, ultra-light dough that's easy to digest. We were also tempted by the pink hummus with beet, and the guacamole. Great preparations, ideal for starting the evening.

As for cocktails, two biphasics: a Long Island Iced Tea, and a mocktail, the Mango Street, made with mango juice and grenadine syrup. Two beautiful, well-crafted creations. We also opted for a Tiramisu shooter, made with Bailey's, coffee liqueur and cream. A real favorite!

And every Friday and Saturday, the house hosts resident DJs offering the very best in funk, disco and house music, just as they do in the Big Apple. A great place to experience the best of New York without leaving the capital... Shall we drop in, friends?
