Joya Trattoria, a taste of Italy in the heart of the 15th arrondissement

Here's an address that smells of Italian sunshine! Head for Joya Trattoria, an Italian restaurant, as its name suggests, located in the heart of Paris's 15th arrondissement, a stone's throw from Beaugrenelle. This trattoria offers lovers of pasta and Neapolitan pizzas the chance to savor carefully selected products in a friendly, girly, powdery space, for a revisited trattoria experience!

As for the cuisine, the best of Italy is on the plate: charcuterie boards, antipasti, burrata, stracciatella, pizzas of all kinds, tasty pasta plates... Enough to treat yourself and travel without leaving Paris! Most of the products are imported from Italy, so that the flavours can be found just as they are over there. The same goes for the pizzas, prepared in the purest Neapolitan tradition, for mouth-watering morsels that are as light as they are succulent.

On the à la carte menu, try the mortadella, Parma ham or mixed boards, as well as the fried zucchini and burrata appetizers. As for pizzas, there are classics like the Margarita, the Napolitana, the Regina, the 4 Formaggi and the Calzone, as well as homemade recipes like La Joya, made with ricotta cream, fior di latte, pistachio pesto and IGP mortadella.

But pasta lovers won't be outdone, either, as the house offers fine plates of penne alla Norma, Linguine al Tartufo, Linguine pomodoro e stracciatella or its gnocchi with gorgonzola and homemade lasagne. And for dessert, tiramisu, Nutella pizza and homemade panna cotta. In short, the kind of good food we love!

A menu that the editorial team was also able to try out... And we particularly liked it! The cuisine is simple for an Italian restaurant, but well executed and with very good products. We particularly like the stracciatella, which is as tasty as they come. The salmon pizza made our mouths water, as did the penne alla Norma, succulent and particularly tasty. For dessert, three scoops of stracciatella ice cream (the chocolate, not the cheese...), lemon and fior di latte, excellent, and the citrus salad, just as refreshing.
