Pizza lovers head to Addommé, a new Neapolitan address nestled near Place des Vosges, in Paris's 3rd arrondissement. This must-visit address promises a culinary journey to Naples, without leaving the charm of the Marais. We've tried it, we'll tell you about it!

DEFINITIVELY CLOSED! While the Marais is constantly buzzing with new culinary trends, a beautiful Neapolitan address is lighting up this emblematic neighborhood. Just a stone's throw from Place des Vosges, at 41 rue des Tournelles, Addommé, or"chez moi" in Neapolitan, opened its doors in June 2022 and awaits you to discover its fine cuisine and pizzas.

At the heart of this initiative is pizza chef Matteo Caprioli, whose talent has already dazzled major capitals such as Zurich, Amsterdam and London. After successful stints with Big Mamma and Daroco, he decided at the age of 29 to embark on his own adventure, faithful to his Neapolitan roots.

Addommé doesn't just treat your taste buds. The warm, almost family atmosphere matches the mischievously concocted playlist. A neighborhood address that doesn't take itself for what it isn't, and that surprises with the quality of its cuisine and the freshness of its products. As for the wine list, it offers a mostly natural and biodynamic oenological journey, straight from Italy!

The real star, of course, is the Neapolitan pizza, which demands the highest level of craftsmanship. The dough, fermented between 36 and 48 hours, is made from cold-pressed Italian flours, promising a soft, easily digestible texture. Let yourself be tempted by the rest of the pizza menu, which is just as tempting!

For lovers of authentic flavors, Matteo surprises with seven original recipes each season, while honoring timeless classics. And for those in search of variety, oven-grilled gnocchi and antipasti are on the menu. Vegetarians and vegans are not forgotten, with carefully crafted options.

It's impossible to end on a sweet note without mentioning Matteo's Tiramisu revisited, lighter but just as gourmet, as well as the collaboration with Brigat patisserie for even more irresistible desserts. The tiramisu is also the result of this collaboration, with Brigat 's patisserie offering a beautiful recipe for light custard instead of the traditional mascarpone. Note also that every ingredient is meticulously selected, like the flour from Molino Vigevano or the tomatoes from Vesuvius.

Our test of the restaurant Addommé :

A cuisine that the editors have tested. As soon as you enter Addommé, you feel right at home: the space is simple and warm, with no fuss, and that's just what we like! For something a little more intimate, the basement dining room is particularly pretty and will delight lovers of freshness, ideal for summer.

On the menu, we were tempted by two pizzas: the Parma Show, made with tomato sauce, Parma ham, burrata and basil, and theOrange diabolique, made with pumpkin cream, Provola (a lightly smoked Campania cheese), Spianata (traditional Calabrian charcuterie, spicy dry sausage) and black olives. Two tasty proposals, not too heavy on the palate (easy to finish, except for small stomachs of course).

As for desserts, the two hits of the house:Addomisù (homemade tiramisù) and Focaccia with pistachio cream. The tiramisù is a fine promise, the mascarpone being replaced by a light custard, offering a fairly light dessert (but it's a tiramisù, so it's not too light either...), ideal for finishing off a hearty meal. Focaccia will send you to seventh heaven, especially if you're a pistachio lover! In any case, we loved it. Note that the pistachio cream is surprisingly low in sugar, which is good because it doesn't taste sickening.

So, if you're in the area, this is a very tasty address.
