After New York, London and Hong Kong, chocolatier Venchi is continuing its expansion beyond Italy 's borders with two store openings in Paris, one last year in the 9th arrondissement, the other this autumn in Montorgueil.
Founded in 1878 by Silviano Venchi, a chocolate enthusiast from Turin, the Venchi house quickly established itself in Italy as a must-visit address for chocolate lovers, as well as high-end ice cream connoisseurs! More than 145 years after its birth, the transalpine House continues to perpetuate Italian savoir-faire and art de vivre.
Stepping through the doors of the two Venchi boutiques in Paris is like taking a direct flight to Turin and the mountains of Piedmont, with their chocolate-covered walls and chocolate fountains. Eye candy guaranteed!
Faithful to Italian tradition, the House offers its essential recipes, from Chocoviar to Nougatine au Cremino, Gianduiotto, not forgetting tablets and ice creams. All these creations are made fromnatural ingredients, without gluten, palm oil or additives.
Even today, Venchi continues to manufacture its products in its Castelletto Stura factory, in partnership with IGP Piedmont hazelnut growers operating in the Langhes region of Italy.
So, let's go and have a look at the Italian chocolatier's chocolate delights?
