Even though we hardly believe it when we see what the weather looks like this June, but summer is actually coming! And who says summer says long evening and picnic with friends, in a park or by the Seine sweet lapping.
To change from take-away sushi, ham and butter sandwich or the sacrosanct trilogy with hummus, tapenade and taramasalata, discover the picnic boxes created by Fauchon. The famous Parisian caterer offers, from July 2 to August 31, five lovely baskets made of hessian and including delicious products by Fauchon. boxes are to be ordered in store, at 30 Place de la Madeleine (Paris 8th arrondissement) or on the website.
On the menu, you have:
“A trip to Paris” picnic (€55 for 2 persons): a bottle of rosé Bordeaux Enclos de Viaud 2017, mini cripsy toasts, tomato spread, goat’s cheese and basil, mini chorizos pure pork jar, parmesan and basil biscuits, glasses, cutleries and corkscrew.
“Avoid the heat wave” picnic (€50 for 2 persons): a bottle of rosé Bordeaux Enclos de Viaud, 2007, a black olive tapenade, goat’s cheese and thyme from Provence biscuit, a crab rillette cooked with cream and shallots, mini crispy toasts, glasses, cutleries and corkscrew.
“Set the world to rights” picnic (€50 for 2 persons): a bottle of Saint-Emilion Rivalon red wine, a wild tuna rillette cooked with cream, shallots and seasoned with white pepper and basil, mini crispy toasts, mini dry sausages pure pork jar, mini crêpes dentelles stuffed with cheddar, glasses, cutleries and corkscrew.
“Declare your love” picnic (€60 for 2 persons): half a bottle of Fauchon brut champagne, Pacific Keta salmon eggs, plain organic blinis, assortment of organic Corsican charcuteries, parmesan and white truffle parmesans, glasses, cutleries and corkscrew.
