Eclectic places, eclectic brunches: at least, that's what the Cité maraîchère has been offering since January, one Sunday a month. After the sophro-brunch on January 22 and the brunch & painting on February 5, the Cité café-cantine is back with an artistic brunch on March 5.
It's all happening at Cheffes, the café-cantine in Romainville's Cité maraîchère, which offers committed, responsible cuisine under the leadership of a trio of female chefs. At lunchtime, it's the place to enjoy dishes concocted from seasonal produce sourced from sustainable agriculture or short supply chains, at attractive prices. In the evening, you can dine in just as well, and on certain Sundays, it's the place to go for brunch at the Cité maraîchère, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This Sunday, March 5, 2023, the artistic brunch is organized in collaboration with Slow Art, which is exhibiting and inviting artist Tal Waldman for an artistic encounter with our Sunday brunchers! A chance to chat with an artist about her works, exhibited in the Cité maraîchère during the brunch.
What's on the menu? A fruit juice (orange or apple), a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate), a starter (creamed corn on Sunday), a hot plate (savory brioche perdu, spinach, cheddar, smoked turkey, poached egg, pan-fried mushrooms and salad) and dessert (pancakes and caramelized pears).
