The Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is something of an exception in the Parisian landscape. Indeed, the three most prestigious positions in its culinary department are held by three women: Anaïs Foray, the head chef, Shereen Khelif, the head pastry chef, and Aurélie Bourre, the head bartender.
To markPink October 2024, a month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer screening and the fight against the scourge, the three chefs have joined forces for a good cause, combining their talents on a menu designed for the event. For the entire month of October, they have created a menu of delicate flavors, to be enjoyed in the elegant surroundings of the Blossom restaurant or the Bar du Faubourg.
At the Blossom restaurant, to complement the autumn dessert menu, pastry chef Shereen Khelif has created a pink pavlova (14€) with passion-hibiscus cream and vanilla-hibiscus ganache. At the Bar du Faubourg, head bartender Aurélie Bourre imagines a pink mocktail (14€) with red Osco, paragon baie de Rue syrup and sparkling eau de mie.
Finally, to combine pleasure and commitment, you can also opt for the pink tea-time (22€) with a choice of hot beverage and three sweet treats: a pink pavlova, a pink praline financier and a raspberry macaroon. For these three gourmet offerings, 25% of proceeds will be donated to the Ligue contre le cancer.
