Goodbye Concorde Lafayette, welcome Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile! The skyscraper hotel at Porte Maillot, dating from the 1970s, has been given a new lease of life.
On arrival, the giant marble lobby leaves us breathless, but offers a beautiful view of the restaurant, called the MAYO, open all day for the enjoyment of tourists and Parisians alike. Everything is clearly laid out. You don't have to look too hard to find the reception desk, the restaurant and the business center rooms of the Palais des Congrès.
The metamorphosis is a great success, making us forget the tower's behemoth appearance. The decor is the work of New York architect Georges Wong, in charge of a titanic two-year renovation.
The hotel with 995 comfortable rooms
With its 34 floors, the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile boasts 995 cosy rooms, suitable for business travelers as well as couples and families visiting Paris for short stays. Every room has a view of Paris, thanks to the oval shape of the hyatt: while some will enjoy a view of the Eiffel Tower, others will see Montmartre in the distance.
Modern and warm, the rooms are equipped with a king-size bed, high-tech comforts (thanks to the HD TV with Apple TV and Miracast system), and a small bathroom sufficient for a few days' stay. As an added bonus, motion detectors are installed at the foot of the bed to promise floor lighting.
The 56 Club rooms and 21 Suites offer privileged access to the Regency Club, on the 34th floor, for lunches and snacks in a magnificent setting!

Windo, formerly La Vue, is the cocktail bar at the Hyatt Regency in Paris. This rooftop bar boasts a breathtaking view of Paris from a height of 140 metres. In just one minute by express elevator!
As for the menu, it's as delectable as the spectacle offered by the capital. The cocktails pay homage to icons of Paris in the Roaring Twenties: Madame Joséphine, Marguerite and De Beauvoir. To accompany them, baos burgers, salmon hearts, croques-monsieur, tempura and spring rolls.

For business groups, the Hyatt Regency has 14 Labs overlooking the hotel lobby. They range in size from 25 to 166 m², can accommodate up to 130 people, and can be combined into a single 2,500m² room for conventions or conferences.
In addition to these lounges, the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile offers 7 smaller meeting rooms for up to 8 people. Each of these 21 rooms boasts state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, controlled by an Ipad system, and a high-speed Internet connection.
