An unusual night at the Opéra Garnier with dinner & a private tour of the backstage area and underground lake

This unique and exceptional night will take place in the famous theater that inspired Gaston Leroux's iconic work Le Fantôme de l'Opéra, as part of a renovation project for the Palais Garnier dressing rooms, supported by Airbnb. So it's in the footsteps of one of French literature 's most famous heroes that lucky guests will walk, from the Opera's dressing room transformed into a majestic chamber for the occasion, to the famous underground lake described in the novel, via the dance studios under the rooftops!

The experience includes:

• A backstage tour of the Palais Garnier, rarely open to the public.
• An introduction to ballet with a Paris Opera ballet dancer.
• An exclusive recital by artists from the Paris Opera Academy, accompanied by champagne.
• Dinner in the sumptuous Foyer de la Danse, a historic backstage room where the dancers warm up and rehearse just before the performances.

For your chance to win this unique night at the Opéra Garnier, you can apply to book the night in question from Wednesday March 1, 2023 at 6:00 pm on the Airbnb website. The stay will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023 and will cost you €37 (plus taxes and fees). Airbnb specifies that this is not a contest. So will it be a "first come, first served" event? Even if we don't yet know how the winners will be selected, we'd advise you not to delay; you're not going to be the only one interested!

Airbnb specifies that to attempt to book, travelers must have a verified Airbnb profile, a positive history on the platform and be aged 18 or over. Maximum room occupancy is two people, and travelers are responsible for their own transportation to and from Paris, France. Of course, given the exceptional nature of the premises, travelers will be expected to be particularly respectful of the spaces and furnishings made available to them.
