Not far from the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero, lies a little corner of greenery: unsuspected and inspired. The Parc Trocadéro Hotel is a cocoon, a little haven of peace whose tranquility is matched only by its elegant sobriety.
Recently reopened after several months of renovation, the place is now signed by Jean-Philippe Nuel. The architect, a regular at luxury hotels, has created a new work of art: luminous!
Furniture, textures and colors blend in a reverent marriage of well-being. Right from the entrance, guests are confronted with green. Surprising but aesthetically pleasing. Precious and daring, the color continues to dot some of the decor, even in the bedrooms: here a cushion, there an armchair or a mirror... Spacious, they mix old and new, styles and eras.
We love the sobriety of the furniture, combined with the whimsy of the colorful details (green, for example, reminds us like a wave of gentle madness). We love the mismatched coffee tables for a personalized effect. We love the view of the shady garden and the quilted beds. An anthology of little whims in the middle of a functional room.
The bathrooms, with their wood panelling and transparent effects, are also a source of sensual pleasure.
Renaissance Paris le Parc Trocadéro is made up of four historic buildings which, if they could talk, would tell us many anecdote about the area's former inhabitants: between the arts and the sciences, Baguès and Nobel found here a little corner of paradise for their respective activities. Built around a garden, now classified as a "protected indoor green space", you leave Paris behind as you cross the threshold: exotic plants and wild flowers, landscape designer Claude Pasquer wanted to pay tribute to the four corners of the planet. The gamble paid off, as you're transported 1,000 miles away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.
