Molitor, the legendary Art Deco-style Parisian establishment, reopened its doors in 2014 after an absence of over 20 years. Known for its swimming pool, the MLTR will enchant you with its 5-star hotel, restaurant, spa by Clarins and rooftop terrace!

The legendary Molitor swimming pool now welcomes guests in a transformed setting that has retained its charm of yesteryear: a highly reputed 5* hotel in Paris, it boasts the famous pools that made its reputation.

Its swimming pool has been classified as a Historic Monument thanks to the SOS Molitor association: built at the time by architect Lucien Pollet, its great advantage lay in the combination of a 33-meter indoor pool, surrounded by two galleries of traditional cabins, and a 50-meter open-air pool surrounded by three floors of blue cabins and white balustrades.

Inaugurated in 1929 by Olympic medal-winning swimmers Aileen Riggin Soule and Johnny Weissmuller, the Molitor pool enjoys an ideal location, close to the Bois de Boulogne, Parc des Princes, Roland Garros and Stade Jean Bouin, right in the heart of the 16th arrondissement. You'll be tempted by the indoor and outdoor pools.

Only, these are reserved for hotel guests and members of a select club ' that many Parisians won't be able to afford, as has been the case in the past! An annual fee of €3,300 and a club membership of €1,200 are required to splash around in the magnificent pools. And as the offer is reserved for the first 1,000 subscribers, it's going to be a very quiet one.

The hotel is managed by MGALLERY, Accor's collection of memorable hotels, and offers rooms with a refined ambience that will delight you with their views over the basin: 104 rooms and 20 suites await couples, or business guests, who will appreciate the meeting rooms in the basement!

Hotel guests and Parisiennes alike can take comfort in the SPA by Clarins, which promises total cocooning sessions thanks to relaxation rooms, massage rooms for two and a hairdressing salon to enjoy the best face and body treatments for men and women, as well as beauty advice from Clarins beauticians!

And take advantage of the gourmet restaurant, whose menu offers an intergenerational vision of French cuisine: from €18 to €55, the dishes on the menu will have you salivating with envy, not to mention the tasting menus offered from time to time by MOFs!

The restaurant's rooftop, open to all, takes us to the heart of an aromatic garden: it's so pleasant to stroll on the roof terrace that you'd forget about the ring road...

Architects Alain Derbesse, Alain-Charles Perrot and Jacques Rougerie, in charge of the project, wanted to bring the spirit of the 1930s up to date, while integrating a few contemporary touches, such as street art frescoes!

Molitor has risen from the ashes with three watchwords: POOL, ART, LIFE. Here, you can enjoy the joys of living in one of Paris's most beautiful jewels, in an environment that couldn't remind us of Deauville and its beach cabins: all that's missing is the sand, and here we are!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
