Restaurant Ore, "Ducasse at the Château de Versailles" will once again open its doors in the evening to individual customers for a high-flying dinner on April 12, 2018 on the 1st floor of the Pavillon Dufour, which offers an exceptional view of the Royal Courtyard.
The theme of this dinner will be "Les Petits Primeurs du Roi".
In 1678, Louis XIV ordered the creation of a kitchen garden under the direction of La Quintinie. He grew a wide variety of vegetables: asparagus, lettuce... But above all, the king's favorite pea, which he grew "en primeur" in the garden's greenhouses.
In the early days of spring, Stéphane Duchiron, chef for "Ducasse at the Château de Versailles", has come up with a tasty dinner based on tender, delicate seasonal vegetables.
