Just a stone's throw from the Belleville metro station, in a small pedestrian street, lies a vegetarian and vegan restaurant that will delight vegan aficionados. In fact, you don't even have to be a vegetarian to enjoy its fresh, tasty cuisine!
Sitting on the small terrace, a homemade lemonade in hand (4€), we discover the menu. Starters range from 5€ (falafels; spring rolls) to 6€ (hummus; carrot and orange gazpacho). Simple but effective, colorful and fragrant.
As for the dishes, the choice is pretty quick, as you can choose between the salade primeur (lentil tabbouleh, roasted vegetables, crudités, fruit; 15€), the plat du jour (15€), theassiette primeur (hummus, eggplant caviar, falafels, lentil tabbouleh, crudités and roasted vegetables; 15.5€) and the vegetarian lasagne (14.5€).
I'm particularly fond of the vegetable lasagne , made with carrots, kale and sweet potatoes, which is astonishingly delicious!
For dessert, everything is priced at 6€: cashew cheesecake, chocolate mousse and a delicious pear-prune-hazelnut crumble, a delicate touch to round off this healthy, fresh dinner.
