Do you like exotic flavors? Do you like good wine? Head to the Montorgueil district to discover a brand new bistro, Mythologie. A new, friendly address that gives pride of place to Franco-Asian alliances, with Japanese bentos, tapas and a most curious wine list.
The menu and atmosphere change according to the time of day: at lunchtime, the chef offers three different reworked bentos (meat, fish and vegetarian), while at dinnertime, the "cuisine of sharing" is offered"in a completely different form" with a menu of French-Asian tapas. Fried goat's cheese with pesto, calamari chorizo lime rosemary wok, prawns with green rice... So many flavors to tantalize the taste buds of food lovers.
On weekends, it's brunch 's turn to take its place in the sun with tasty eggs Benedict, Thai bao bolognese, surprise rice dumplings or a slice oftofu and lime cheesecake. But Mythologie is also a wine story: in 2013, chef Emilie Chen, who founded the restaurant, decided to create her Mythologie wine brand in collaboration with Nicolas Vellas, a winemaker in his own right. The product of their creation? Five fruity, gourmet wines with divine packaging, each named after a Greek god: Aphrodite, Apolon, Athena, Poseidon and, of course, Mythologie. Wines that go perfectly with the dishes on offer, for a moment of grace between Japan, Greece and France. Shall we go, friends?
