Lovers of ravioli in all its forms gather at L'Enveloppe, a restaurant in Paris's 9th arrondissement, to savor ravioli, gyosas and other morsels from around the world. It's an opportunity to discover a cuisine that's not necessarily well known around this product. Shall we go, friends?

Calling all fans of ravioli and other filled pastas! L'Enveloppe, a restaurant located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, invites you to discover its mono-product in all its forms in a warm and welcoming establishment. A ravioli revisited here, inspired by recipes from all over the world. Gyozas, empanadas, ravioles, gozleme... There's something for everyone!

A ravioli typical of Italian cuisine, which democratized it, but whose origins are quite different. And with good reason: it was in China that this pastry, filled and sealed before being cooked, is said to have originated, although recipes can be found in a number of Arab cookery books from the golden age of Islamic civilization, the Abbasid era.

As for the menu, it changes every week, each time featuring four different countries and fifty or so ravioli recipes. And the menu offers a wide range of possibilities: gyoza, empanadas, pirojki, naan, taloa, batbouts, pierrogis... so many flavors to discover! But each time, an assortment of four "raviolis", a side dish, a sauce and a drink and dessert depending on the menu.

On the menu, a plate of four "raviolis" from the four corners of the world, including a gyoza with pork confit in soy sauce, a pirojki with mushrooms, a traditional naan and a taloa, a kind of Basque ravioli made with ventrèche and espelette pepper. Our verdict: a real treat! The founder of L'Enveloppe, Enzo, insists on respecting the original flavors, but also adapts them to the palates of the most demanding gourmets, resulting in interesting compositions in taste, for a real discovery and a quick trip around the world.

As a side dish, beets or potatoes, the choice is yours. We also appreciate the desserts on offer, a lemon and timut pepper tart, as well as a coconut tart with tonka shavings, to die for! All homemade... Special mention must also be made of the beers on offer, which also come from the four corners of the world, and of one of the most surprising sauces on offer that day, Tortilla. In short, the new spot to discover for gourmets and gourmands! Shall we go, friends?
