At Metà e Metà, you can enjoy original Neapolitan pizzas and fresh homemade pastas while sipping organic wines from Italy. And before you leave, take a trip to the grocery store, well-stocked with good Italian products.

On a busy shopping street in Montreuil, a new Italian address has just opened: Metà e Metà. Part pizzeria, part Botte grocery store, this new spot, run by the Corinti siblings and Neapolitan pizza chef Lello Sorrentino, treats us to a short selection of Neapolitan pizzas, from the most classic to the most original.

Among the pizzas on offer, for example, we love the Gialla pizza, featuring Piedmont hazelnut (yellow tomato sauce, mozzarella fior di latte, cured ham, buffalo ricotta flavored with IGP Piedmont hazelnut, IGP Piedmont hazelnuts, basil and olive oil, 16€), or for the Pistacchio pizza which, as you'll have guessed, puts the Bronte pistachio at the center of the plate! (Mozzarella fior di latte, pistachio-flavored buffalo ricotta, crushed Bronte DOP pistachios, Favola mortadella, basil and olive oil, 18€).

It's also hard to resist the Zucca pizza (pumpkin cream, smoked fior di latte, Tuscan sausage meat, pumpkin confit and parmesan shavings, 14€) and the Calabrese pizza (San Marzano tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, Calabrian Nduja, onion confit, basil and olive oil, 15€), which showcase the finest products straight from Italy.

For a convivial meal, you can also share antipasti with friends or family, featuring cured meats and cheeses imported directly from small Italian producers, Italian cult recipes such as arancini (15€) and, of course, the unavoidable and very generous mozzarella di bufala, topped with arugula, olive pesto and Parma ham (18€).

Not tempted by pizza today? Then turn to fresh homemade pasta, available in several recipes from chef Narcisa Diaconu. Do you prefer lasagne with ragout simmered for 5 hours (17€) or gnocchi alla romana (14€)? One thing's for sure: we'll accompany these fine dishes with organic or biodynamic wines from Italian grape varieties ranging from Trentino to Sicily.

To end on a sweet note, let yourself be tempted by the cannoli, a Sicilian dessert par excellence (7€), the tiramisù with Piedmont hazelnuts (7€) or the clementine tart (7€); before taking a tour of the grocery corner, well stocked with good things made in Italy .

Here you'll find classic organic delicatessen products (olive oil, pasta, rice, sauces, cookies), fresh produce (cold meats, cheeses, fruit and vegetables), as well as a catering offer with daily take-away dishes. Perfect for treating yourself at home.

La bella vita in Montreuil!
