There are times the only thing we are craving is a relaxing place, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris, where we can unwind while having lunch with our close ones. Wel, here is a comforting venue likely to tick all boxes! Head to Paris 11th arrondissement and discover Maison Bréguet.
At the heart of this hotel that is the very definition of the cocooning spirit, discover a confidential restaurant, bathed in day light thanks to the gorgeous glass roof and the secret winter garden. As soon as you get it, you start falling in love with this almost secret location that is like a relaxing bubble. You immediately understand you have found a delightful spot to enjoy a break.
Alright the restaurant is very delightful, but what about the food? Well, it is up to it! One can enjoy seasonal and comfort food created by chef Suha Ozkan with rather balanced dishes to fully enjoy it from starter to dessert. Furthermore, we highly recommend the complete lunch set menu for €35, much more profitable. When we came in the Fall, as cold was just starting, we fell for the mushroom soup to start with, extremely creamy, it warmed our hearts and taste buds. The poultry supreme is also a must as the meat is very juicy.
Delight continued all the way to dessert with chocolate finger with a very strong taste of cocoa, likely to please chocolate fans, as well as some caramel and pear entremets with some crumble. The latter, rather low in sugar, shines a light on the fruit’s natural taste. And this tasting’s common thread has been this very respect of real and genuine flavors.
