If for you a Sunday without brunch is a Sunday missed, then Paris is the perfect playground for gourmet discoveries. In the four corners of the capital, the good addresses reveal great formulas for all desires. For those who like to get away from it all, here's a surprising stopover full of flavors that awaits you throughout the month of March.
Let's go to the 11th district of Paris to push the doors of Maison Bréguet. In this temple of cocooning, we discover a trendy restaurant with a soothing setting, bathed in the light of day thanks to its beautiful glass roof. Every Sunday, Maison Bréguet invites us to enjoy a gourmet rendez-vous for bruncheurs. This hotel, where a chill and relaxed vibe reigns, unveils its original menu in collaboration with the coffee shop La Main Noire throughout the month of March.
For the month of March, we discover a brunch combining the Middle Eastern inspired cuisine of Maison Bréguet's chef, Suha Ozkan, and the gourmet flavors that make up the soul of the Main Noire. Here, everything is concocted from local and seasonal products. The formula proposed at 55€ per person (65€ with a glass of champagne), includes an all-you-can-eat sweet and savory buffet, a hot drink of your choice, fresh homemade fruit juices, a hot dish with a choice of garnish, and eggs.
If you stop by the open kitchen, you'll find, among other things, pastries (of course), a crown of goat cheese from Père Fabre, cheeses from the Maison Sanders, spreads from Maison Laurino, in short, a nice cast that sounds familiar to the ears of Parisian gourmets. These delicacies rub shoulders with surprising specialties such as a black sesame hummus, but also regressive delicacies such as the irresistible rice pudding. All in all, a qualitative buffet that already whets our appetite.
For the choice of the eggs, the decision was difficult, but we finally fell for the creamy scrambled eggs covering a stone muffin, as well as for the avocado toast, a brunch must-have topped with a poached egg. As for the dishes, there was no way we could miss the exclusive recipe of the month, that of the Black Hand: the perfect egg, tava mushrooms, pressed potato topped with a beef pastirma and a tava meat juice.
A plate with a comforting and exotic touch, while remaining light. Those who prefer to go English will not be able to resist the Gourmet Fish & Chips with its bistro fries and tartar sauce.
To accompany this brunch, the famous Main Noire lattes are part of the menu. Highlighting superfoods without compromising on taste, these are a must-try. Between the sweet bitterness of the Matcha Latte, the spicy flavors of the Golden Milk or the cocoa notes of the Pink Latte, these comforting drinks do not only delight the eyes.
Maison Bréguet unveils a carefully crafted brunch formula that leaves room for audacity and culinary discoveries without depriving us of the sure-fire values that are essential for a gourmet Sunday. A way to gently invite us to get off the beaten track!
