Freshly inaugurated, Pomelo Bistrot unfurls its Mediterranean charm in the vibrant 2ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. Nestled at 153 Rue Montmartre, this Mediterranean bistro aims to be a sunny, convivial escape. Open daily from 08:00 to 01:00, it accompanies Parisians, Ile-de-France residents and tourists from early morning until nightfall, offering a menu teeming with delights.
Traditional Mediterranean cuisine is served in a warm, luminous setting, bearing the creative signature of designer Olivia Decaris. With its sunny tones, orange trees and inspired decor, Pomelo is a sunny getaway without leaving Paris. On two levels, the restaurant reveals a dining room with a large bar facing us. A large terrace opens up for sunny days. Upstairs, a large, quieter room awaits you for group or duo dining.
Bistrot Pomelo is the new venture of cousins Nicolas and Alexis, already well known on the Parisian gastronomic scene with their previous establishments such as Café d'Italie, Chez Bartolo and I Grappoli. Here, their passion for Italian cuisine finds a new expression, extended to delights from all over the Mediterranean.
At Pomelo, every moment of the day is an invitation to share and discover, in a place where conviviality and epicureanism are king. The rich, inventive cocktail menu is also a great start to evenings with friends, which often continue with small plates to share and pizzetas. At lunchtime, take advantage of our €16.50 lunch menu!
Right from the start, the Vitello Tonnato captivates with its skilfully measured sauce, which delicately coats the slices of veal. A fine way to start. The salmon ceviche, fresh and well-seasoned, continues the positive trend.
The dishes don't disappoint either. The Polpete with homemade beef meatballs is tasty. A good point for the house. The barbecued octopus is a success, with tender flesh at the core and a light crispness on the surface. Accompanied by sun-drenched vegetables, it's a real treat.
For dessert, the café gourmand offers a wide variety of sweet treats, enough to delight gourmands who can never make up their mind. The profiterole is generous, even gargantuan, and we recommend you share it.
Every Friday, the restaurant goes into party mode. It's our turn to host lively evenings, with live musicians and singers, allowing us to sing our favorite songs at the top of our lungs.
In short, Pomelo brings a festive Mediterranean breeze to the Grands Boulevards, with authentic cuisine and generous, well-executed dishes. An address to discover for a convivial break in the heart of the capital.
