I Grappoli, the Italian restaurant in raclette mode

Feel like a raclette? How about an Italian raclette? In these bitterly cold times in Paris, I Grappoli is all about gourmet comfort food, and we're all for it. Let's head for the famous trattoria that opened last year on the Denfert-Rochereau side and is already serving up ultra-generous pizzas and fresh pasta.

This restaurant with its warm, authentic cuisine has decided to comfort us with seasonal dishes. It has to be said that raclette is also a popular dish in Italy, this dish originating in Switzerland, we agree, but if you're looking for good charcuterie to accompany cheese and potatoes, Italy has the palm.

The menu:

The restaurant's menu is enriched not only by an Italian raclette, but also by a good velouté of pumpkin with hazelnuts and guanciale (Italian dried pork) and macaroni au gratin with white ham and mushroom cream, all baked in a pizza oven.

I Grappoli's special raclette is served with steamed potatoes topped with melted Taleggio, a creamy, melt-in-the-mouth Italian alpine cheese made from cow's milk. In addition to the fine Italian cured meats and lettuce, there's also a generous bowl of melted Gorgonzola, which is sure to delight fans of stronger cheeses.

These seasonal dishes add an original touch toI Grappoli's already varied menu. It's the ideal place for a nice meal with the family or a convivial evening with friends. The restaurant has awarm and welcomingatmosphere, with rustic decor and a homely feel. Although the dishes are quite gourmet, there's nothing to stop you accompanying them with a starter of the house specialties to share, such as mozzarella fritters or bruschetta. With a good cocktail, it's ideal for a good time.

Finally, as we really need to be comforted and survive the cold of winter, trattoria obliges, we can't pass up the Nutella pizza, dripping with deliciousness.

The Italian raclette formula and seasonal dishes are available every day from 12pm and are served until midnight. Enjoy your meal!
