As of January 31, 2025, Rivages Supper Club, at the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra in the 9th arrondissement, unveils its Table du Chef, an exclusive gastronomic rendez-vous for lovers of fine food and cocktails. Conceived by chef Martin Simolka and mixologist Roberto Catalano, this experience invites you on a culinary voyage unlike any other in Paris. The concept? A six-course dinner, where each dish is paired with a cocktail or mocktail designed to reveal all the subtleties of the ingredients.
The experience takes place in a curtained-off corner of the Rivages restaurant. The meeting point is set for 7.30pm, and after a few explanations, the meal begins at 8pm. This hidden table can accommodate between 6 and 8 people, whether or not they're in the same group, making for a convivial and unusual experience.
To the left of the table, Roberto Catalano presents the cocktail paired with Martin Simolka's dishes before each tasting. The duo works in perfect harmony, and we love letting our taste buds work to find the ingredients that go into our glasses.
Each dish reveals a subtle alliance between exceptional products and inventive flavors, enhanced by bold pairings. Whether it's a surprising marriage of land and sea, spicy notes harmonized with woody flavors, or light sweet touches to conclude the meal, Rivages Supper Club offers a complete sensory immersion. The surprise is as much in the glass and on the plate as it is in the show of the preparations, theatrically finalized before our very eyes.
The 6-course pairing menu is priced at €150 per person , all-inclusive, and is aimed at couples and friends alike, in search of a fine experience combining mixology and inventive dishes.
