If you are looking for a new tasty and original place where you can enjoy nice dishes, then discover the latest Parisian address by Jean Imbert and Eric Kayser.
The famous chef and the legendary baker have decided to team up and join their skills and talents to create Les Bols de Jean.
Set in Paris 2nd arrondissement, since September 22, this restaurant also does take-away, and provides creations served on a wooden tray in bread bowls (made of natural yeast), toasted to order with French olive oil and filled with simple, local, organic products that also come from sustainable farming.
From Hugo Desnoyer’s veal stew to line-caught whiting from Brittany to radishes from Ile de France without forgetting pollack and matcha tea mayonnaise, tomato salad from the chef’s kitchen garden or vanilla mashed pumpkin mixed with red quinoa…
We have to say it, but the Chef improvises with the daily delivery for even more surprises and flavors.
The only thing to know is if you prefer eating the bowl with a fork or your fingers, it’s up to you!
Note that the bread isn’t wasted and the crumb inside that is not used is recycled for the puddings and the kitchen staff. They’re then donated to Cé Ke du Bonheur, the association sponsored by Hélène and Omar Sy.
