Imagined by two moms in need of activities, Pauline and Elodie, the Polinsons is a quiet playroom, the antithesis of the traditional playgrounds, these giant structures that they have frequented for years. A place where children as well as parents find their account. Here, parents have the right to a central tea room, to have an eye on the whole room of 220m2. Babies and children have four universes to explore freely for two hours (or more depending on the reservation).
At the entrance, you are welcomed by the team, who explains how the room works. Children who can read can then look at the map at the entrance. Everything is made for them. The toys are freely accessible, the little corner with sinks of different sizes for young and old. But it doesn't take more than two minutes for the little ones to get their bearings, and for the parents to take a breath (or follow them in their adventures, as they choose).
A village reproduction allows them to do their shopping, cook meals and go to the theater. The bravest can even dress up in the locker room! In another area, it's sandbox and nature discovery for the older kids. Budding engineers can build safely in the workshop, with kapla and LEGO.
Infants and babies have their own space, with a motor course, wooden toys and a reading corner for stories with their parents. They can go in the other spaces to explore from their first steps. We didn't mention it, but of course, parents, grandparents and nannies can go in all the spaces. There is only one condition: shoes are left at the entrance.
We talked about it at the beginning. The Polinsons also make tea room and small restoration. A cup of tea or a coffee at 3 euros, a cookie and a fruit for the children's snack at 2,5euros (both), shares of cakes and two dishes of the day provided by a partner, the card is simple but effective. On sunny days, a shaded terrace in a private courtyard far from cars will allow you to enjoy the sun, while the children will have fun with water games.

Convinced? All week long, the place offers an after-school club with activities and workshops in small groups, thanks to its three animators. The range of activities is wide, from art education for 18-36 month olds, to English language workshops through theater for 6-9 year olds, to musical education for 3-5 year olds. Starting in May, the Polinsons will offer pre-schooling courses to introduce children to school before the start of the school year in September. Workshops and activities cost 20 euros per session, and a half-year subscription exists at 240 euros.
A 35m2 room can also be reserved for birthday parties, from 120€ for 8 children. To take advantage of the whole space, private sessions are possible for half a dayor even a day, on weekdays or weekends. Tables, games, music, workshops, snacks, the team can take care of everything!
Pauline and Elodie are already considering other openings, they have gone through crownfunding for this room, there may be other projects to finance.
