Musée Rodin, a big festive weekend for children and adults

All summer long, the Musée Rodin provided lots of entertainments to delight families. Between art entertainments and playful investigations, it has it all to have fun in this museum and garden, both very welcoming.

To close this exceptional program as it should be, the Musée Rodin has concocted a festive weekend called “Dans le Jardin de Rodin”. Meet on Saturday August 27 and Sunday 28, 2022, to enjoy this gorgeous and last August weekend, expecting you in the garden of the museum of course.

Program:

Saturday August 27

• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Atelier Rodin open all day, without booking. A workshop to get introduced to art practice. 
   
• 10 a.m. – Child-parent yoga. An open-air yoga session, in a green setting in the very heart of Paris. Start your day with positions, to your kid’s pace, surrounded by Rodin’s sculptures. These sessions, created for families, provide a moment of sharing and relaxation before discovering the museum. From 5 years old.
  
  
• 3 p.m. – Tour-workshop “Mon Jardin de sculpture”: go and discover Musée Rodin’s garden along with a guide. From the rose garden to the Orphée garden, from the thickets to the large Ugolin pool, this tour will offer you to discover with your family the relationship between Rodin’s sculpture and the surrounding garden. During a workshop, children and adults can imagine their own garden and sculptures. From 6 years old.
   
• 4:30p.m. – Tour-workshop “Mon Jardin de sculpture”
   
• 7 p.m. – Family concert Et la musique, monsieur Rodin ? by the Ensemble Hélios. The quartet will tell you all about Rodin’s love for music through notes and words.
  
  

Sunday August 28

And the extra good deal is picnicking is allowed on the pitches all weekend long. Prepare a cool bag and sandwiches and off you go to have a great time. And if you are not into preparing it, the L’Augustine café-restaurant has it all to provide you no matter what. For the record, all entertainments are free of charge. Admission is free for all under 26 years of age.
