The Musée Rodin has now reopened, and to accompany the reopening, the museum is unveiling its new restaurant, called L'Augustine.
Completely renovated, the L'Augustine restaurant now welcomes you to its shady, leafy terrace overlooking the Rodin Museum sculpture garden. A haven of peace where gourmet delights meet art.
To design the menu, the restaurant called on chef Amandine Chaignot, who works all year round in her restaurant Pouliche, in the 10th arrondissement.
The à la carte menu offers refined, gourmet cuisine featuring fresh, seasonal French produce. For example, the chef proposes a salad of smoked trout, celery, kiwi, red onion and citrus vinaigrette, as well as braised beef with parsnips and juniper-roasted pears, or skate wings with spring vegetables and lemon balm butter.
For sweet treats, L'Augustine has called on Lenôtre to offer a selection of the House's iconic pastries, to taste on site or to take away, such as the chocolate concerto, lemon tart and rum baba.
Also note that from July 23 to mid-August 2020, the Rodin Museum will be offering nocturnes until 9:30pm. These events are an opportunity to discover the works of art and the museum garden, and are accompanied by a picnic menu put together by L'Augustine.
