Fête de la Science 2024: escape game at the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers in Paris

As in recent years, the Fête de la Science is back for another edition, from October 4 to 14, 2024. It's the perfect time for researchers, scientists and science enthusiasts to come together to share experiments, discoveries, workshops, conferences and events of all kinds, with a great program accessible to the general public. At the beginning of October, plunge into the heart of knowledge and discover France's top science hotspots, in Paris and the Île-de-France region: universities, museums... The Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers de Paris, or CNAM, is a prestigious institution dedicated to teaching, research and the preservation of scientific heritage. Founded in 1794 byAbbé Henri Grégoire, it is located in the Marais district, in the heart of the French capital. The CNAM is renowned for its vast library, the Bibliothèque du Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers (BCAM), one of the world's largest in the field of science and technology. It houses an impressive collection of documents, manuscripts, rare books, scientific and technical journals, as well as historical objects linked to technological advances. It offers a veritable treasure trove of knowledge to researchers, students and the general public, who can discover it during the Fête de la Science.

• Escape Game in the reading room of the Cnam central library

  As part of the Fête de la Science, the Cnam libraries invite you to take part in an Escape Game in the reading room of the central library. With your team, you'll have to stop a very dangerous group: the Obscurantes.
  These individuals are manipulators who regularly disseminate false scientific information. Their next move will take place during the Fête de la Science: Saturday, October 12, 2024 (10am-12pm).
