On the weekend of June 1 and 2, 2024, the Musée de la Vie Romantique will be opening its doors to families, and children in particular, for another free family weekend. After the one organized in June 2023, this is a new opportunity and a great deal to come to the museum with the kids, without blowing the budget!
Every day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. non-stop, free activities are offered without reservation, especially as this family weekend coincides with the Rendez-vous aux jardins. Between the different activities, children will be able to take part in a wide range of activities, not forgetting the storytelling tours of the museum's permanent collections, which are not to be missed.
After the workshops, the permanent collections open their arms to you: it's time to visit them with the kids (especially if they're discovering the collections for the first time).
Starry Mustang - puppet show
Using machines made of wood, scrap metal and cardboard, this baroque masterpiece stages the spectacular, with dragons, volcanoes and other terrifying monsters.
Herbarium workshops
To round off the day, or for a little snack, take a trip to Rose Bakery, the museum's café, which treats you all year round with its menu of sweet and savoury snacks, hot and cold drinks... Set right in the gardens, you'll feel like you're in the Normandy countryside right in the middle of Paris - a guaranteed change of scenery!
