As part of the free family weekends organized by Paris Musées, on Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 2024 admission to the Musée d'Art Moderne is not only free for the whole family, but there's a whole program in store for young and old alike during this culturally-focused weekend.
On the program? Storytelling tours, creative workshops to introduce you to the plastic arts, as well as a sensory guided tour of the Musée d'Art Moderne for the whole family, a kid-friendly yoga session in front of the works of art... For this family weekend at the Musée d'Art Moderne, sport dominates the program on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It's up to you to discover how art and sport are linked within the museum!

Bring the whole family and take part in a collaborative project initiated by artist Oliver Beer! Four works from the MAM's collections form the basis of a collection of drawings and sounds which, at the end of the project, will be reinterpreted in four films directed by the artist.
Manga initiation workshop for the whole family
The workshop is an opportunity for the whole family to discover the techniques of manga drawing, learning the fundamental steps involved in creating a character, animals or fantastic creatures, as well as the composition of a panel and the lettering specific to this Japanese comic strip!
Yoga for artworks
A family Iyengar yoga session in front of Henri Matisse's La danse . Experience yoga postures in front of Henri Matisse's fresco of dance, a masterpiece of color harmony and plastic composition, which exudes rhythm and energy, inviting you to join in the dance and follow the nymphs' movements.

Animated tour A face for everyone
Toddlers explore the collection rooms, where they can admire a variety of modern and contemporary portraits.
