Bam Ticket offers free events in Paris to bring theater to all those who want to discover it from different points of view. To this end, Bam Ticket organized a cooking workshop at the Théâtre du Lucernaire in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
After the success of the free masterclass with Alexis Michalik, we were lucky enough to get places to try out the "cooking in a theater" experience, as places went fast and were limited.
We began the session with a tour of the Lucernaire theater. We were able to see almost everything: the three performance halls, the three cinemas, the artists' dressing rooms, the corridors off-limits to the public, and we finished with the restaurant and bar. With lots of history and anecdotes, we came away from the tour knowing everything there is to know about the Lucernaire theater and its history.
We then returned to the theater's restaurant, where we met the sous-chef of the theater's restaurant and her assistant cook. With aprons and gloves on, we set about making cookies as a team, with the help of the kitchen staff. After the cooking workshop, we waited for the cookies to bake with a little quiz on Le Lucernaire, to see what we'd learned, and of course, there were prizes to be won!
We had a great afternoon, and came away from the activity feeling that we'd learned about the world of theater, and particularly the venue, while having fun baking. We can't wait to find out about Bam Ticket's next free activity.
