It could be said that The Little Prince has been seen and re-read and re-read. Yet the story is one of those timeless childhood books that never go out of fashion and, on the contrary, become even more valuable as they grow up. So, a new show adapted from the little character created by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry arrives at La Scala from December 26, 2024, to May 27, 2025: an opportunity for the little ones to discover the poetic universe of this lovely tale, and for the grown-ups to plunge back into childhood.
We all know the story: that of Saint Exupéry, a professional aviator whose plane crashes in the middle of the Sahara desert. He then meets a strange child, a Little Prince with blue eyes and blond hair, accompanied by his red fox. Little by little, the two characters form a relationship, and the Little Prince reveals his vision of life, love, loss and friendship with impressive wisdom, slightly tinged with naiveté. The Little Prince is a book that can be reread at any age, and we learn a lot from this little character. So François Ha Van decided to stage it, accompanied by David Dupuis-Moatti andHoël Le Corre from thecompany Le vélo volé, in a family show accessible to children aged 6 and over.
Presented at La Scala, the famous venue in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, you and your family can discover and marvel at this lovely show presented from December 26, 2024 to May 27, 2025.
