It's a show that marked the childhood of an entire generation. Club Dorothée was TF1's hit between 1987 and 1997, and is still fondly remembered by those who knew it. That's why JLLO prod - linked to Jean-Luc Azoulay, the show's historic producer - is preparing a revival for the Gulli channel. Starting in September 2023, viewers will be able to discover Le grand jeu des années Club Dorothée.
The concept is to plunge back into the Club Dorothée era through a quiz: three teams of two candidates, including a celebrity, will have to answer a series of questions on the series, songs and shows of the era. There will be plenty of references to the show hosted by Dorothée. And to bridge the gap between the two, host Jacky will be on hand for this new show, which is expected to air in prime time.
As a reminder, Club Dorothée helped popularize Japanese anime in France, and brought AB Productions to the top, with the broadcast of series such asHélène et les Garçons.
