On Saturday, March 23, 2024, bring the kids to the Musée de la Libération de Paris! Located in the 14th arrondissement, next to the Denfert-Rochereau RER and metro station on Avenue Henri Rol-Tanguy, the museum focuses on the history of the French Resistance and the liberation of the country.
This is your chance to (re)discover the permanent collections of this historic site during the family weekend organized by the museum. What's on the program? A fun-filled guided tour for children aged 6 to 11 (accompanied by an adult or as a family, obligatory) as part of the Parisian Week for Combating Racism and Anti-Semitism. Your guides will be Ernest and Colette, the two heroes of the animated series Les Grandes grandes vacances, and a museum guide. For an hour, children can discover what life was like in France during the Second World War, thanks to the museum's collections, on an educational tour designed to explain this singular period to the youngest visitors.
The Musée de la Libération de Paris, a visit to the heart of the Resistance
