For the 2020 holiday season, Jacques Genin 's Parisian chocolaterie takes on the allure of haute-bijouterie. The chef's candy jewels come in radiant, trillion and round sizes, and are adorned with gold and ruby powder.
With an air of haute joaillerie, today we discover what Jacques Genin has in store for the 2020 holiday season!
It celebrates Paris, its grandeur, its mysteries and its exoticism, and houses replicas of the tip of the obelisk at Place de la Concorde and iridescent pralines resembling sand dunes. Jacques Genin named this creation afterwriter Ingrid Astier, "the embodiment of Parisian glamour and voluptuousness" .
Price: 36-piece Christmas set - €45
Alongside Ingrid, this year we find the timeless Christmas creations of Jacques Genin: hazelnut-orange-cognac muscadines, 72% Madagascar dark chocolate truffles, marrons glacés and a candied chestnut log.
New products include a pecan and gingerbread caramel praline bar, a star anise ganache, a Périgord walnut praline bar and a jasmine praline!
And since we can't imagine celebrating Christmas without a good log, we've also fallen for Jacques Genin's 2020 Christmas log, the Santa Planifolia log, with chocolate sabayon and light Tahitian vanilla whipped cream, to be found on Epicery!
Price: €40 for a 4-person log, €60 for a 6-person log.
