Following in the footsteps of Le Perray-en-Yvelines, Plaisir and Rambouillet, it's now Sartrouville (78)'s turn to don its coat of lights for a magical tradition that can't be ignored! From December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025, the Place de la Gare will play host to an enchanted village, featuring a Christmas skating rink set amidst an illuminated coniferous forest. Visitors will be able to meet a giant bear and an XXL luminous fir tree, perfect for family selfies.
The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. on December 21, with the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus, who will officially open the ice rink (synthetic) and an ice petanque court. On the program: a musical fanfare, the traditional free distribution of hot chocolate, creative workshops and many other surprises until 1 p.m.! Throughout the vacation season, a sweet and savoury food truck will delight gourmets, while a special Santa Claus letterbox will be waiting for youngsters' wishes.
In the afternoon, Santa Claus will continue his tour of the Place Alexandre Dumas from 3pm to 5pm, where children can enjoy wooden games.
The little kings of sliding have a date with the ice rink in Sartrouville, in the Yvelines, for the Christmas vacations!
