For the 38th edition of European Heritage Days, the archaeological crypt of the Ile de la Cité welcomes visitors for self-guided tours on Saturday September 18 and Sunday 19, 2021. The perfect occasion to discover the story of Paris and the Ile de la Cité with your family.
Onthe occasion, the archaeological crypt of the Ile de la Cité offers a walking-tour to discover the remnants of the old Paris and the story behind, through brand-new plates and digital screens, as the museum undergone a makeover many months ago. A modern museum when it comes to address history likely to please children and adults.
And if you are looking to find out more about the Ile de la Cité and Notre-Dame de Paris, note the Cathedral takes part in European Heritage Days as well, but in its own way. The building has burnt in 2019 but provides several entertainments about the reconstruction of the roof and spire, right above the Crypt.
