Heritage Days 2024 at the Rodin Museum in Meudon (92): tours and craft activities

The Rodin Museum in Meudon invites you to discover its treasures and collections free of charge, on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine, the weekend of September 21 to 22, 2024.

Once again this year, the Rodin Museum in Meudon welcomes us to celebrate the 41st edition of the Journées du Patrimoine: on the weekend of Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22 , 2024, the famous sculpture museum unveils its program for all art lovers.

It's an opportunity to (re)discover the different areas of the museum, from the studio to the plaster gallery. In this illuminated gallery, you can admire the strange tool Rodin used to enlarge his most famous sculptures: the pantograph. This not-to-be-missed cultural event will take you deep into the world of this major French sculptor.

Maison des ateliers, galerie des plâtres, atelier des antiques, parc de la villa: discover the different areas of this museum one by one as you follow the itinerary, and take part in manual activities specially organized for young and old artists alike. The museum invites you to make the most of its beautiful interior and exterior spaces, and spend some quality time with your family during the summer.

During this convivial visit, come and discover this place so important to Auguste Rodin's art. In just 30 minutes, a lecturer will give you all the keys you need to immerse yourself in this house-workshop dedicated to creation.
Saturday and Sunday, departures at 10:30 am, 11 am and 11:30 am. Meet in front of the Villa des Brillants.

"Rewriting Antiquity"

With artist Lou Motin, weave links and connections between works from the distant past in Rodin's collection and your own imagination... The small clay tiles modelled and engraved during the workshop will form an evolving installation.
Saturday and Sunday, 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, non-stop. Meet at the educational area.
For all ages 4 and up.
