The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) take place this weekend, September 21 and 22, 2024! These special days, celebrated all over France, open the door to the rich history of our heritage, revealing the hidden treasures of our towns and villages. And Sarcelles is no exception, with a whole host of visits and events to mark the occasion.
Sarcelles, located in the Val-d'Oise département, has a rich history. At the Heritage House
Exhibition of the "Regards sur ta ville" project, a blend of graffiti, photography and embroidery that brought together residents of all ages from Arnouville, Écouen and Sarcelles to create over forty colorful collective urban paintings.
Artists Géraud Delort, a graffiti artist, Lucy Winckelmann, a photographic artist, and Judith Vittet, a textile artist, offered local residents the chance to see their town in a new light through a series of workshops from February to June 2024.
