On the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024, the Journées du Patrimoine return for their 41st edition with a very fine program in Paris and the Île-de-France region, as seen here in the town of Palaiseau, Essonne.

Every autumn , there's a major event that attracts large numbers of curious visitors, in Paris, the Paris region, the whole country and even throughout Europe. This unmissable event in September is the Journées du Patrimoine, which offers you the chance to discover places that are normally inaccessible to visitors: places of power, ministries, secret locations and other treasures are only open to the public on this exceptional weekend, scheduled for September 21 and 22 this year. So, this is your chance to fill up on guided tours and other activities, with a program to rediscover heritage close to home or, on the contrary, to cross the region for unprecedented visits.

In theEssonne department, the town of Palaiseau is offering a wide range of tours to mark the Journées du Patrimoine 2024. Pointe battery

    Seré de Rivière fortification built in 1870 to protect the Palaiseau fort, which was integrated into the fortifications to protect Paris. Owned by the city of Palaiseau since 1999. The ADPP association works to ensure that this historic heritage is preserved and opened to the public.

    Guided tour of this Séré de Rivière fortification, built in 1870 to protect the Palaiseau fort and integrated into the fortifications to protect Paris, and owned by the town of Palaiseau since 1999. Church of the Nativity of Our Lady

    Based on an animated film, it tells the story of a child who unwittingly triggers a popular revolt and the collapse of a totalitarian system.
    It uses the narrative principle of cine-concert, with live performers and unique scenic devices that evolve with the story. Through the power of the imagination, Fantôme aims to inspire a poetic uprising by transporting the audience into a powerful dreamlike adventure
