This exhibition will be an opportunity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of SIMCA's arrival in Poissy, with a display of the SIMCA 1000 and other emblematic vehicles.

The "L'Aventure Automobile à Poissy - CAAPY" association was set up in 1984 by a group of enthusiasts, with the aim of recalling all the events that have marked the rich history of the Poissy car plant, which began in 1938 with Ford S.A.F., continued with Simca in 1954 and then Chrysler France in 1970.
In 1978, the PSA Group acquired Chrysler's European subsidiaries, and in 1979 relaunched the Talbot brand, which disappeared in 1985 in a difficult market.

It also preserves a large number of technical and commercial archives for collectors and writers. The Collection comprises 65 vehicles, many of them manufactured in Poissy, and is housed in a factory building open to the public. Visiting conditions and dates can be found on the home page of the www.caapy.net website.
