Calling all gourmets and lovers of good, tasty produce! Rungis Market, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is organizing the first edition of the Festival du bien manger.
To be discovered from Friday November 15 to Sunday November 17, 2019, the event plans to invade the splendid Grand Palais for three days that promise to be very gourmet.
For the occasion, the general public will be invited to follow a unique itinerary where eating well will be the watchword. To this end, the 15,000 m² market, set up under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, will offer the expected 25,000 visitors the chance to meet over 100 chefs and exhibitors, as well as take part in discovery workshops, demonstrations and masterclasses, and enjoy a selection of over 300 fresh products for sale direct from Rungis Market!

To satisfy every craving, this extraordinary festival will unveil five sectors of activity: seafood, meat products, fruit and vegetables, dairy products and caterers, horticulture and decoration.
In addition to the market and 20 discovery workshops, the festival will feature a photo exhibition, a bookshop, a food court with bars, food trucks and straw huts, not to mention a children's area with fun activities.
And to top it all off, celebrity chef Thierry Marx will be the patron of this culinary event. It's the biggest fresh produce wholesale market in the world," he says, "but above all, it's a food and economic lung that has a social and environmental impact, particularly on vocational training in the catering trades, where recruitment is at a premium, a subject close to my heart.
For the occasion, join Thierry Marx on Friday, November 15 from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm for the inauguration party, and on Sunday, November 17 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am for his masterclass on the theme " La cuisine, maîtrise du geste et du temps ".
Produced and orchestrated by the Øconnection agency in partnership with Rungis International Market, the festival's mission is to"celebrate culinary savoir-faire and the French art of living".
